I can define my pool's Purpose by settling four things: entity, lens, governance and impact. I can state which entity I am analysing, and explain why that choice changes every answer that follows. I can choose the lens I value my pool through, commercial or cultural, and write my Ikigai and intent through it. I can describe the power and governance structure my pool operates through, and say who actually holds the decision rights inside it. I can name the commercial and cultural impact my pool creates, and say how I would show it to someone who doubts it. I can choose a finance model that captures, receives and grows the value my pool creates, and say whether it covers my costs. I can describe my pool's value model (how it creates, delivers and captures value) and say which exchange model it actually runs on. I can distinguish the types of value my pool creates, and say which of them it currently gets paid for and which it does not. I can identify where my pool runs a commercial exchange model, where money moves and currency is the metric. I can identify where my pool runs a social exchange model, where goods and services move and wellbeing is the metric. I can recognise a social value model as a hybrid of the commercial and social exchange models, and say where my pool uses one.

I can run a PESTLE analysis on my pool's operating environment and name the three forces most likely to act on it. I can differentiate private and public funding sources, and assess which are realistic for my pool's stage and its purpose. I can distinguish my pool's shareholders from its stakeholders, and manage its community as an asset rather than as an audience.

I can state my pool's current reality and the vision it is heading for, and name the gap between them. I can run the Edify 4D Journey (Discover, Define, Design, Deploy) as a repeating loop, and say which stage my pool is in now. I can map my pool as four biomes (Essence, Internal, Market and External), say what each one governs, and point to where they meet. I can explain why the Full Value Framework holds commercial and cultural value together rather than trading one against the other. I can place my pool on the Full Value Growth Engine across both axes and say which quadrant its growth comes from. I can trace how income and capabilities convert into commercial and relationship assets in my own operation. I can complete a Full Value Audit of my pool across Purpose, Operations, Assets and Capabilities, and use it as my baseline.

I can explain what my pool's Market Biome is, name the five propositions inside it, and say which is strongest and which weakest today. I can write a product proposition for my pool in a sentence or two: what it is, what it does, and who it is for. I can write my pool's value proposition, naming the problem it solves and what separates it from a comparable pool. I can describe my delegator as a customer avatar and write the promise I could be held to. I can position my pool on product, price, market and service, and say what it will deliberately not do. I can map my pool's partner and channel ecosystem, and name the value exchanged in each direction.

I can describe my pool's revenue as one engine of marketing, sales, production and client services, not a sales function. I can audit the capabilities my pool depends on, and name which of them are held by people rather than by systems. I can list my pool's commercial assets on and off the balance sheet, and say which would be hardest to replace. I can assess my pool's relationship assets as an asset class rather than culture talk, and say which is weakest.

I can construct my pool's business plan on a page using the Edify Business Planning Framework, from purpose through to stakeholders. I can identify and prioritise the top five development areas for my pool across income, effectiveness, assets and purpose. I can test my plan against good, average and bad conditions, and state what I would change under each. I can produce a 90-day implementation plan for my pool with milestones, owners and review points.
